Our Story
1940's-50's:
First Assembly of God is formed and established in Bozeman
1957:
Pastor Al Redmond led the church to purchase it's current location at 921 W. Mendenhall. The congregation built it's first facility, a place to call home!
1966:
John Weaver is invited to become the Senior Pastor. He is instrumental in teaching the people the lifestyle of loving people and looking at them through the eyes of Jesus Christ. He dreams a ministry center and under his leadership the name is changes to Christian Center Church.
1974:
Christian Center School was formed and later became known by it's current name: Heritage Christian School.
1977:
What now is known as Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship was formed by Dick & Joy Schroeder as an outreach ministry to Montana State University.
1980's:
This decade was filled with challenges for Christian Center. God was faithful to His vision and purpose under the leadership of Charles Farina and Joe Barnett.
1991:
David & Judy Delgatty are invited to serve as the Senior Pastors and continue to serve in this capacity to this day. The vision of loving God & loving people continues!
2007:
God's vision is huge as is his passion for us! We will do all we can to do life together as we continue to seek the realness of God and experience true love for each other.
